    Good afternoon,

Checking in on two facets of an HCP communication:

    1. Are there any considerations around promoting a copay program to HCPs in advance of it being available to Patients? E.g. "Soon we will be rolling out a copay program for patients..."
    2. Within the same communication to HCPs are we able to speak about other topics, for example the parent company and its heritage? Does any separation need to exist?

    Many thanks in advance.

      Hi @j-lancaster,

While we do not know the details of the program from the question, a manufacturer may promote their own copay program to HCPs before being made available to patients. For the second part of the question, the answer would be dependent on the topics, and the nature of the claims, and the overall context/presentation. However, in general, a corporate, non-product message about heritage that has no implications for the product, may appear with a corporate service message such as their co-pay program. In contrast, presenting corporate messages in a manner which suggests an unsubstantiated product benefit or attribute would be misleading. Should these questions relate to a specific project with certain parameters, we suggest submitting for an opinion/review in order for PAAB to provide additional direction.
