Forum Update: Supporting Community-Led Discussion
The forum was created as a space for shared learning and peer support, and as the community grows, we want to lean more fully into that purpose.
Going forward, PAAB will be taking a more listening-first role in forum discussions. Rather than responding immediately to every question, we’ll be encouraging members to engage with one another, share experiences, and help build collective understanding. PAAB will continue to monitor conversations and will step in to:
- Correct any misunderstandings
- Provide guidance when questions remain unanswered after a few days
- Support discussions where official clarification is needed
Our goal is to foster a collaborative, trusted community where knowledge is shared and strengthened by everyone’s contributions.
Thank you for being part of the conversation.
Gating requirements for HCP journal

We are looking at purchasing digital ad space on The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry. The journal can only be accessed behind a paywall and is clearly stated as intended for HCPs. Is this a sufficient gating mechanism to have our ad reviewed as an HCP APS?
Hi @mimic909!
If it's properly gated for HCPs, then yes. You might also find this PAAB forum response helpful as well.

Hey @mimic909, @palanski is correct that if there is proper gating, the ad may appear on the site.
Be careful not to apply this to the entire site, as we can see that there is advertising on the journal website referenced in your question prior to gating/before the paywall.
