Forum Update: Supporting Community-Led Discussion
The forum was created as a space for shared learning and peer support, and as the community grows, we want to lean more fully into that purpose.
Going forward, PAAB will be taking a more listening-first role in forum discussions. Rather than responding immediately to every question, we’ll be encouraging members to engage with one another, share experiences, and help build collective understanding. PAAB will continue to monitor conversations and will step in to:
- Correct any misunderstandings
- Provide guidance when questions remain unanswered after a few days
- Support discussions where official clarification is needed
Our goal is to foster a collaborative, trusted community where knowledge is shared and strengthened by everyone’s contributions.
Thank you for being part of the conversation.
376 - We have a PAAB-approved fax blast for pharmacists. Our marketing team wants to remove the product codes and prices and send the piece to physicians. This is the only change…would the revised fax blast need to go through PAAB-review? If it does not, is it ok to keep the PAAB logo on the piece?

Per the Submission Guidance document on our website at: http://www.paab.ca/resources/pdfs/code-revision/Guidance_on_Submission_Process.pdf The described change would require review (as would any removal or addition of drug content for example). See the sections “FYIs” and “All Other Post Approval Changes”. This industry reviewed document lists the types of changes which would not require review. Given the resemblance to prior APS, we’d do what we can to expedite the process for you. Call a member of our admin team to flag the file accordingly.
