Forum Update: Supporting Community-Led Discussion
The forum was created as a space for shared learning and peer support, and as the community grows, we want to lean more fully into that purpose.
Going forward, PAAB will be taking a more listening-first role in forum discussions. Rather than responding immediately to every question, we’ll be encouraging members to engage with one another, share experiences, and help build collective understanding. PAAB will continue to monitor conversations and will step in to:
- Correct any misunderstandings
- Provide guidance when questions remain unanswered after a few days
- Support discussions where official clarification is needed
Our goal is to foster a collaborative, trusted community where knowledge is shared and strengthened by everyone’s contributions.
Thank you for being part of the conversation.
Same Banner Ad, Different Journal
-
When submitting banner ads for PAAB review, we provide details on intended placement (to clarify the audience/context). If we want to place an already PAAB-approved HCP banner ad in an additional gated journal, would this require re-submission? There would be no change in size, content, or context—just an added placement in a journal not listed in the PAAB correspondence of the original submission.

Good morning @medwriter
If the context and audience are unchanged, addition of another publication would not prompt an updated submission. "Context" includes no change in targeting or placement (i.e. remains run-of-site) within the new journal and no linkages which were not presented in the initial submission. If unsure, PAAB can provide an opinion (which can proceed to full review if it is determined to be required).
