We have an OTC product with the active ingredient- Polyethylene Glycol 3350 and it is authorized for treatment of Occasional constipation in adults.
We are writing blogs on constipation with branded content, we wanted to get an idea that while targeting consumers directly:

    1. Is it okay to write blogs on causes of constipation, such as stress related constipation? As, In some cases, stress is one of the factors causing constipation.
    2. Our intention is to create campaigns reaching the lifestyle-focused segments of the target audience (such as 'Keep your gut healthy'). Is it okay to talk about “Gut health” and its improvement in promotional materials? Relief from constipation affects gut health.

Please share your thoughts on these.

      Hello @abhi-patel

While consumer advertising for Schedule D health products (e.g., vaccine), and ethical schedule health products fall within the scope of PAAB services, consumer advertising for OTC and NHP products does not. Please note that Health Professional directed advertising of these products falls within the scope of the PAAB Code.
