Forum Update: Supporting Community-Led Discussion
The forum was created as a space for shared learning and peer support, and as the community grows, we want to lean more fully into that purpose.
Going forward, PAAB will be taking a more listening-first role in forum discussions. Rather than responding immediately to every question, we’ll be encouraging members to engage with one another, share experiences, and help build collective understanding. PAAB will continue to monitor conversations and will step in to:
- Correct any misunderstandings
- Provide guidance when questions remain unanswered after a few days
- Support discussions where official clarification is needed
Our goal is to foster a collaborative, trusted community where knowledge is shared and strengthened by everyone’s contributions.

QR code to replace PM URL in FB copy

I have a client asking about the requirement to include the URL copy within the "for more information" section of Fair Balance copy.
Specifically, they are wondering whether the PM URL could be replaced with/by a QR code to access the PM within this section of copy?Any insight would be appreciated,

The product monograph URL can be replaced by a QR code in both print and digital.For digital APS, we suggest the QR code be made clickable to facilitate easy access to the product monograph similar to a URL. -

Please note that as per PAAB code 7.3.1a, "The URL may be supplemented, but not replaced, by an electronic coding system, such as a QR code or a bar code".
For print media, please be reminded that the telephone number must be accompanied with the URL +/- the QR code.
