Forum Update: Supporting Community-Led Discussion
The forum was created as a space for shared learning and peer support, and as the community grows, we want to lean more fully into that purpose.
Going forward, PAAB will be taking a more listening-first role in forum discussions. Rather than responding immediately to every question, we’ll be encouraging members to engage with one another, share experiences, and help build collective understanding. PAAB will continue to monitor conversations and will step in to:
- Correct any misunderstandings
- Provide guidance when questions remain unanswered after a few days
- Support discussions where official clarification is needed
Our goal is to foster a collaborative, trusted community where knowledge is shared and strengthened by everyone’s contributions.

ImageryWe are looking into building a website in which consumers are able to purchase veterinary medicine for their pets. I have seen other websites display the manufacturer photos of the products on consumer facing websites that include product name, dosage/quantity, form (tablet or topical), and pictures of the species in which the drug is intended (example attached). Would these kinds of images be compliant with PAAB code, as it is not an advertisement, but rather a catalog?

Current DTC RegulationsHello,
I am currently on the Marketing to Consumers PAAB training, and was wondering where the "Current Regulations - DTC" resource disappeared to. The link currently takes you to a no results page(https://www.paab.ca/resources/current-regulations/). Would the "Online Activities" supplemental guidance page be the next best resource? Any further direction would help. Thanks!
